From the mid-Qing Dynasty to Modern China,the Changzhou School represented by Zhang Huiyan was one of the most important schools of Ci-ology.The philosophical view of the "intentional out of words" and "bixing sustenance" raised by Zhang Huiyan conforms to the era environment of the tumultuous changes in the middle and late Qing Dynasty,and has had an extensive and far-reaching impact.The acceptance process of Changzhou Ci-ology is constantly changing with the development of the times and also reflects the changing times of the literary aesthetics.During the Jiaqing period,it was the forming stage of Changzhou Ci-ology.Its readership mainly consisted of Zhang Huiyan’s relatives,friends,and disciples.Learning and imitation were its main methods of acceptance.In terms of creation,early readers actively practiced Zhang Huiyan’s theory of Ci-ology and peddled his thoughts and emotions through trusting objects.In terms of Ci-ology,early recipients also actively disseminated Zhang Huiyan’s theory of Ci-ology,laying the foundation for acceptance by readers of later generations.In the late Qing Dynasty,under the turbulent social background,the salvation plan became the main trend of the times.This period was the climax of the development of the Ci-ology of Changzhou.The influence was further expanded from Changzhou,and there have emerged such vocabularies as Tan Xian,Chen Tingchao,and Wang Pengyun strongly promoting and actively developing their Ci-ology.In terms of creation,there is also a large amount of "word history" that reflects social reality on the basis of the original.The readers of this period mainly sang together with friends and associations,and there was a situation of simultaneous singing.In the period of the Republic of China,because of the continuous deepening of Western studies,the study of Ci-ology gradually shifted to the modern.Tang Guizhang,Xia Chengtao,Long Yusheng and others succeeded and accepted the ideas of the Ci-ology of Changzhou.On this basis,they also explored the development of modern word studies.Although Wang Guowei accepted Western literary theory,he also has traces of the influence of the Changzhou School on his philology.The regular Ci-ology in this period is also actively seeking ways to integrate with the times.In the different periods of acceptance of Changzhou Ci-ology,the readers’attitudes towards accepting and responding are also different.The social value of Changzhou Ci-ology in the context of a particular era has provided readers with the possibility of accepting it.In the process of continuously satisfying readers’psychological expectations,the Changzhou Ci-ology itself is also constantly enriching and recreating. |
