As the environment of market changes day by day,the organizations are undergoing tremendous challenges.The uncertainty and the political behaviors of the internal environment put forward a higher demand on the ability of adaptation to all employees.Under the dual influence of complex market and organizational environment,political skills,as an important interpersonal skill in organizational politics,plays an important role in employees' career,and helps the organizations survive successfully.Political skills have been the focus of the study in Organizational Behavior Science,studies have shown that political skills play an important role in employees' job satisfaction,emotional involvement,and job performance,and have different function in different cultural backgrounds.Therefore,this study is based on the Chinese context,compiles a questionnaire of Leader Political Skills by interviewing and finishing an open questionnaire survey with some employees.Leader Political Skills Questionnaire,Leader Behavioral Integrity Questionnaire,compiled by Simons in 2007 and Organizational Commitment Questionnaire,complied by Meyer and Allen in 1997 are adopted to investigate the relationship between leaders' political skills,behavioral integrity and organizational commitment in organizations.Results of this paper are as follows:(1)The scale of leaders' political skills is consisted of 4 dimensions and 15 items.The four dimensions of it are power utility,interpersonal harmony,social acuity and circumstances astuteness.The questionnaire has been confirmed with good reliability and validity.(2)Interpersonal harmony has a negative predictive effect on leaders' behavioral integrity;Social acuity and circumstances astuteness have a positive predictive effect on leaders' behavioral integrity.(3)The power utility has a significant positive predictive effect on employees' normative commitment;The behavioral integrity of leaders plays a complete mediator between social acuity and continuance commitment;the leader behavioral integrity plays a complete mediator in the relationship between interpersonal harmony and circumstances astuteness with organizational commitment.
