Purpose:Applying the compound of tonifying kidney and activating blood based on the theory of “heart-brain-kidney axis” to treat chronic heart failure.Observing the improvement of clinical indicators in patient with heart failure to evaluate the clinical efficacy of compound of tonifying kidney and activating blood.In-depth study of the theory of “heart-brain-kidney axis” to provide ideas for the clinical treatment of chronic heart failure.Material and method:Patients with chronic heart failure were selected as the study object. The 68 patients who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into the control group and the Chinese traditional medicine group by using random number table method. The control group was routinely treated with western medicine. On the basis of the control group, the Chinese traditional medicine group added the compound of tonifying kidney and activating blood. After 4 weeks of medication, comparing two group indicators before and after treatment in LVEF,NT-pro BNP values, curative effect of cardiac function,TCM symptom score,6-minite walking distance, heart failure quality of life score and safety indexes.Results:1.In terms of LVEF,there was no significant difference between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).After treatment, the Chinese medicine group was significantly improved compared with the control group. The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);2.In terms of NT-pro BNP,there was no significant difference between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).After treatment, the value of NT-pro BNP decreases significant in the Chinese medicine group comparing with the control group. The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);3.The total effective rate of TCM group was 93.94%,while the total effective rate of control group was 75%.The difference in curative effect of cardiac function was statistically significant(P<0.05);4.There was no different in TCM symptom score between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).After treatment, the improvement of symptom score in the TCM was better than that in control group. The effective rate of TCM symptom in TCM group was 93.94%,while the effective rate of control group was 68.75%.The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);5.There was no significant difference in the 6-minute walking distance between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).After treatment, the walking distance of the TCM group was better than that of the control group. The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);6.There was no significant difference in heart failure quality of life score between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).After treatment, the level of TCM group was better than that of the control group. The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);7.Blood routine examination, urine routine examination, liver function examination, kidney function examination, electrocardiogram were all within the normal range before and after treatment, without abnormal changes.Conclusion:1.Kidney-tonifying and blood-activating compound is effective in the treatment of chronic heart failure with qi deficiency and blood stasis;2.The combination of kidney-tonifying and blood-activating compound and conventional western medicine in the treatment of chronic heart failure can significantly change the TCM symptom, improve heart function and quality of life, control heart failure, increase exercise endurance.Verify the method of “the heart, brain, kidney regular together” is effective.3.Kidney-tonifying and blood-activating compound is safe without adverse reactions.
