The Effect Of Yinxieping Pills On IL-27 And IL-31 In The Serum Of BALB/c Mouse Psoriasis-like Model

Objective: To observe the effect which Yinxieping pills on psoriasis-like BALB/c mice models in skin lesions,histopathology,transforming growth factor beta as well as interleukin-10 expression and to explore the possible mechanism of the Yinxieping pills on treating psoriasis.Methods: Forty-eight healthful male BALB/c mice were randomly divided into 6 groups which respectively were blank group,model control group,Tripterygiumwilfordii group,Yinxieping Pills high,middle and low dose groups,eight mice ineach group.In addition,4 mice of the same batch are using for pre experiment first.Until the model success fully constructed,the experiment begins.After all the micewere depilated on the back,the back skin were given with imiquimod cream exceptthe blank group with vaseline,1 times/d,for 8 days.At the same time,thecorresponding drugs were given by gavage.The blank group and the model controlgroup mice were given physiological saline by gavage.Tripterygium wilfordii group,Yinxieping Pills high,middle and low dose groups mice were given the correspondingdrug solution by gavage 1 times/d,for 8 days.After the last administration for 24 hours,the psoriasis area and severity index(PASI)score of the skin in the back ofmice was observed;The levels of IL-27 and IL-31 in serum were detected by ELISAmethod.The skin tissue of the back were taken as pathological sections to comparethe histopathology.And in the whole ex periment,record the general situation of mice.Results:(1)The PASI score of the skin in the back of psoriasis-like BALB/c mice of Yinxieping Pills high,middle,low dose groups,tripterygium wilfordii group and model control group compared with blank group had significant differences(P<0.05).The PASI score of the skin in the back of psoriasis-like BALB/c mice of Yinxieping Pills high,middle,low dose groups and tripterygium wilfordii groupcompared with model control group had significant differences(P<0.05).(2)The histopathological changes: in skin lesions of Yinxieping Pillshigh,middle and low dose groups to varying degrees to lighter than the model control group.(3)The content of IL-27 and IL-31 in Yinxieping Pills high,middle,lowdose groups,tripterygium wilfordii group and model control group mice 's peripheralblood was significantly higher than the blank group(P<0.05).The content of IL-27 in Yinxieping Pills high,middle,low dose groups and tripterygium wilfordii groupmice'speripheral blood was significantly lower than the model control group(P<0.05),the difference was statistically significant.The content of IL-31 in Yinxieping Pills high,middle,low dose groups and tripterygium wilfordii group mice 's peripheralblood was significantly lower than the model control group(P < 0.05),the differencewas statistically significant.Conclusion:(1)Yinxieping pills can reduce the PASI score of psoriasis-like mice models inskin lesions,and it can improve psoriatic skin lesions.(3)Yinxieping Pills can reduce the content of IL-27 and IL-10 in psoriasis-likemice's peripheral blood,it is probably one of the mechanisms of Yinxieping pills inthe treatment of psoriasis.(2)The content of IL-27 and IL-31 in model control group mice 's peripheralblood was significantly higher than the blank group,it shows that IL-27 and IL-31 in peripheral blood are associated with the pathogenesis of psoriasis.
