A Retrospective Analysis Of Professor Wang Mei's Application Of The Method Of Clearing The Liver And Eliminating Galls To Relieve Pain In The Treatment Of Subacute Thyroiditis

Purpose:To summarize the clinical features of patients with subacute thyroiditis(SAT),and to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of Qinggan Xiaoying Zhitong therapy.Material and method:Select patients of subacute thyroiditis were diagnosed in the Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from July 2011 to June 2017,they were treated with Qingganxiaoyingzhitong therapy.To analyze the clinical characteristics of these patients,evaluate the efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine,treatment recurrence rate,adverse reactions and hypothyroidism rate.Results:1.General data,clinical features and laboratory examination results: The total number of cases was 128,with 24 males(18.75%),and 104 females(81.25%),and the average age of diagnosis(45.67 + 8.96)(ranged from 25 to 68 years),and the duration of the disease was 4 days ~ 1 years.The incidence of spring,summer,autumn and winter accounted for 18.75%,31.25%,32.03% and 17.97% respectively.The main clinical manifestations were thyroid pain in 127 patients(99.22%),fever of 75 patients(58.59%),and fatigue of 88 patients(68.75%).The increase in blood sedimentation rate was 81.32%,the highest was 131mm/h,and the increase of c-reactive protein was 61.54%.Thyroid disease is 60 percent.92 patients underwent thyroid ultrasound examination in our hospital,including 75 cases of thyroid enlargement(81.52%),45 cases of thyroid nodule(48.91%),and 92 cases with hypothyroidism(100%).2.The main symptom relief time: After traditional Chinese medicine treatment,the average pain relief time was(6.76± 1.11).The average acetaminophen was(3.60±1.32),and the fastest one took the traditional Chinese medicine.In 27 patients,the hormone was taken before the hospital.After taking traditional Chinese medicine,the hormone was gradually reduced to disuse,and hormone withdrawal time was 0~30 days,and the reduction of hormone rate was 100%.3.The curative effect,the recurrence rate and incidence of hypothyroidism: Clinical observation of 128 cases of clinical cure 110 cases(85.94%),14 cases(10.94%),effective 4 cases(3.12%),no invalid cases,the total effective rate is 100%.The recurrence rate of all patients was 0.78%,and the incidence of mean hypothyroidism was 3.91%.4.Adverse reactions: There were 4 cases(3.12%)of patients with diarrhea during taking Chinese medicine,and the symptoms disappeared after adjusting the traditional Chinese medicine.All patients had no abnormal liver and kidney function and other adverse reactions.Conclusion:1 The incidence of the disease is higher in women than in men,and more in summer and autumn.2 The treatment of thyroiditis can improve the clinical symptoms of patients with Qinggan Xiaoying Zhitong therapy,and it has definite effect,safe and reliable.
