| Objective: By observing the clinical effect of Xiaoying Zhitong Decoction on the subacute thyroiditis of heat-toxin exuberance syndrome,evaluate its clinical value and safety and further explore its mechanism of action.Methods: A total of 60 patients with subacute thyroiditis of heat-toxin exuberance syndrome who were admitted to the Affiliated Hospital of Shanxi College of Traditional Chinese Medicine were collected and randomly divided into a treatment group and a control group,30 cases in the treatment group,and 30 cases in the control group.The control group was treated with prednisone acetate tablets,and the treatment group was treated with Xiaoying Zhitong Decoction based on the control group for a total of 8 weeks.Data were collected after treatment,and the clinical symptoms,thyroid function,red blood cell sedimentation rate and adverse reactions of the two groups were observed before and after treatment,and the effectiveness and safety of the two groups were evaluated.Results:1.Comparison of the improvement of goiter: The goiter was improved after treatment in both groups,and the treatment group was better than the control group(P <0.05).2.Comparison of pain disappearing time: the pain disappearing time in the treatment group was 4.93±1.05 days,the pain disappearing time in the control group was 6.21±1.37 days,and the neck pain disappearing time in the control group was more than that in the treatment group,with a significant difference(P <0.05).3.Comparison of laboratory indicators: Intra-group comparison of laboratory indicators(three items of thyroid function and erythrocyte sedimentation rate)between the two groups after 8 weeks of treatment,the results are both P <0.01,indicating that both the treatment group and the control group can improve thyroid function And the erythrocyte sedimentation rate is statistically significant.Comparison of thyroid function between the two groups after treatment was found to be P> 0.05,indicating that there was no difference in thyroid function indicators between the two groups after 8 weeks of treatment;comparison of the red blood cell sedimentation rate(ESR)after treatment between the two groups was found to be P <0.05,Statistically significant.4.Comparison of the efficacy of TCM syndromes: the effective rate of the controlgroup was 78.57% and that of the treatment group was 96.55%.There was a statistically significant difference in the efficacy of TCM syndromes between the two groups(P <0.05).5.Comparison of overall efficacy: The effective rate of the control group was 75.00%,and the effective rate of the treatment group was 89.65%.A statistical difference was found between the two groups after comparison(P <0.05).6.Comparison of side effects: 1 case of hormone-related side effects occurred in the treatment group,with a side effect rate of 3.45%;6 cases of side effects occurred in the control group,with a side effect rate of 21.43%.A statistical difference was found after comparing the two groups(P <0.05).Conclusion:The results show that Xiaoyingzhitong Decoction combined with prednisone has significant effects in improving the three main symptoms of neck pain,swelling and fever in patients with methylene inflammation,which can improve the thyroid function,reduce the red blood cell sedimentation rate,and promote the thyroid function of patients.Recovery,relief of patient's pain,improvement of quality of life,no damage to liver and kidney function,significant advantages over prednisone treatment alone,and broad clinical application prospects. |
