Objective: To observe the treatment effect of Touxie Xiaoying decoction of subacutethyroiditis;To explore the relationship between insidious pathogen theory and subacutethyroiditis, provide a new way of thinking for traditional Chinese medicine treatment ofsubacute thyroiditis.Methods:60patients who were diagnosed as subacute thyroiditis were randomly dividedinto two groups.30cases of control group, use western medicine treatment; while thetreatment group take Chinese traditional medicine Touxie Xiaoying decoction. After4weeks treatment,clinical observation effects of Touxie Xiaoying Decoction on subacutethyroiditis patients,which include clinical symptoms,the time required to reduce fever andthyroid function, erythrocyte sedimentation rate.Then compared with control group then.Results: The treatment group in improving the symptoms, signs, antipyretic time andthyroid function, erythrocyte sedimentation rate and other indexes were significantly, noadverse reaction occurred during the treatment.The treatment group has10casesremarkable curative effect,effective in18cases, the total effective rate was93.33%; thecontrol group in the clinical Significant effect in5cases, effective in17cases; the totaleffective rate was73.33%. General effect of the treatment group was significantly higherthan the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion: Touxie Xiaoying Decoction in the treatment of subacute thyroiditis, showsstable curative effect and small side effect. Description of insidious pathogen theory can be used to explain the pathogenesis of subacute thyroiditis, new ideas which this studyprovides are reliable.
