| Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of Gegen Zhentong Decoction in the treatment of tension-type headache,and further enrich the traditional Chinese medicine treatment of tension-type headache,so as to provide scientific clinical trial basis for clinical promotion.Method: Sixty-eight patients with tension-type headache were randomly divided into the treatment group and the control group,with 34 patients in each group.The treatment group was given Gegen Zhentong Decoction orally for 14 days,the control group was given toutongning capsules orally for 14 days.The changes of clinical efficacy and relevant indexes before and after treatment and 4 weeks after treatment were observed.Results:1.The total clinical efficacy was 88.23% in the treatment group and 73.52% in the control group.The comparison of the total clinical efficacy between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05),and the treatment group was superior to the control group.2.Both the treatment group and the control group showed improvement in headache degree,headache duration and TCM symptoms(P <0.05).Compared with the control group,the treatment group had better effect(P<0.05).3.Compared with the treatment group,the headache index and TCM syndrome score of the treatment group and the control group both increased 4 weeks after the treatment,but the control group was more obvious(P<0.05),indicating that the treatment group had more stable efficacy.4.No significant adverse reactions occurred in the treatment group and the control group.Conclusion: Gegen Zhentong Decoction can help patients with tension-type headache to reduce symptoms,so as to improve life and work. |
