Clinical Observation Of Qizhu Prescription Soaking In The Treatment Of Hand-Foot Syndrome Caused By Fluorouracil Drugs

Objective:to study the clinical effect of external bath of Qizhu decoction in the treatment of hand-foot syndrome caused by fluorouracil drugs,and to further analyze the difference in efficacy between different TCM syndromes.Methods:This study included 96 cases of hand-foot syndrome patients who met the inclusion criteria in the outpatient of oncology department of Chongqing Hospital Of Traditional Chinese Medicine from October 2017 to October 2018.Patients were randomly assigned to the two groups using the random number table method.TCM syndrome differentiation was carried out before the experiment.The experimental group were given external bath of Qizhu decoction.The control group were given oral vitamin B₆.Hand-foot syndrome was graded before the start of the trial,7 days after treatment,and 14 days after treatment.The efficacy was evaluated according to the grading changes of hand-foot syndrome.To analyze the curative effect of external bath of Qizhu decoction in 7 days and 14 days,as well as the difference in efficacy between different TCM syndromes.Results:1.The experimental group 7 days of treatment the total effective rate was 58.3%,14 days of treatment the total effective rate was 79.2%.The control group 7 days of treatment the total effective rate was 39.1%,14 days of treatment the total effective rate was 54.3%.The curative effect of experimental group was better than that of control group,treatment the curative effect of 14 days was better than 7 days.Mann-Whitney U test showed that the difference was statistically significant?P<0.05?;2.The experimental group 14 days of treatment the total effective rate of liver depression and spleen deficiency type was 76.5%,the total effective rate of spleen and kidney Yang deficiency type was 57.1%,the total effective rate of spleen deficiency with dampness type was 90.9%,the total effective rate of Yin and Yang deficiency type was 50.0%.The patients with spleen deficiency with dampness type had the best curative effect,followed by those with liver depression and spleen deficiency type,and those with spleen and kidney Yang deficiency type and both Yin and Yang deficiency type had poor curative effect.Kruskal-Wallis H test showed that the difference was statistically significant?P<0.05?.Conclusion:1.External bath of Qizhu decoction can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of hand-foot syndrome;2.The curative effect of Qizhu decoction on 14 days was better than that on 7days;3.The best curative effect of external bath of qizhu decoction on the syndrome of spleen deficiency with dampness.
