Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of acupuncture combined with Meibai Yurong Decoction in treating melasma of kidney deficiency and blood stasis type by completely randomized and parallel control method.To evaluate the efficacy of acupuncture combined with Meibai Yurong Decoction in treating melasma of kidney deficiency and blood stasis type by using the melasma area and severity index(MASI)and syndrome score of traditional Chinese medicine,and to explore an objective method for evaluating the efficacy of chloasma.It provides a new way of thinking for the treatment and provides a basis for further research.METHODS:Recruitting patients with melasma from the dermatology clinic of The second Affiliated Hospital of Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from April 2018to February 2019.General information,MASI,TCM symptom score,quality of life index questionnaire(DLQI)were recorded and photographed.According to inclusion and exclusion criteria,60 patients with melasma of kidney deficiency and blood stasis type were randomly divided into test group and control group,30 cases in each group.The control group was given Meibai Yurong Decoction formula granules orally,and the test group was treated with acupuncture on the basis of the control group.MASI were recorded at 2,4,6,8,10 and 12 weeks after treatment.The patients' satisfaction with treatment was evaluated at 12 weeks.The efficacy of acupuncture combined with Meibai Yurong Decoction in treating melasma of kidney deficiency and blood stasis type was evaluated and the safety of oral Meibai Yurong Decoction and acupuncture combined with Meibai Yurong Decoction was evaluated.Results:The number of female patients was larger than that of male patients in the study.The age of patients ranged from 36 to 40 years,and the course of disease ranged from 3 to 5 years.Simply oral Meibai Yurong Decoction is effective in treating melasma of kidney deficiency and blood stasis type,and acupuncture combined with Meibai Yurong Decoction is effective in treating melasma of kidney deficiency and blood stasis type.In the treatment of facial patches,acupuncture combined with Meibai Yurong Decoction began to work from the second week,while oral Meibai Yurong Decoction only began to work from the sixth week.The effect of acupuncture combined with Meibai Yurong Decoction was faster than that of oral treatment alone,but when the course of treatment was 12 weeks,there was no significant difference in the effective rate and the healing rate between the two groups.Acupuncture·combined with Meibai Yurong Decoction was superior to oral Meibai Yurong Decoction alone in the treatment of MASI.There was no significant difference between the two groups in the treatment of overall TCM symptoms.In terms of satisfaction,the satisfaction of patients with melasma treated by acupuncture combined with Meibai Yurong Decoction was higher.In terms of safety,there were only slight adverse reactions in both groups,including needlingbleedin g and temporary nausea and stomach discomfort after taking medicine,which could be alleviated by themselves or after simple treatment,without affecting the continued treatment.Conclusion:There is no significant difference in the total effective rate of treating melasmaof kidney deficiency and blood stasis type by acupuncture combined with Meibai YurongDecoction or oral Meibai Yurong Decoction alone.But the curative effect of acupuncture combined with Meibai Yurong Decoction is faster than that of pure oral Meibai YurongDecoction.The treatment of melasma in left zygoma is better than that of pure oral Meibai Yurong Decoction,and the satisfaction of patients with melasma treated by acupuncture combined with Meibai Yurong Decoction is higher. |
