| Since 2002,China has deepened the reform of the power system,resulting in the emergence of a large number of power generation groups and power grid companies.The installed power capacity has continued to rise,from 357 million kilowatts to 2.01 billion kilowatts and the national electricity generation has increased from 1640 billion KWH to 7142.2 billion KWH.Power generation enterprises and grid companies have experienced a transition from rapid development to maturity and stability.As China further strengthens supply-side structural reform,it strengthens source control and makes efforts to cut capacity and inventory.So power generation companies,especially thermal power companies,have entered a period of development bottlenecks and difficulties and are facing increasing challenges.Because of this,whether a company has a long-term strategic plan is even more important.Inner Mongolia He Lin Power Limited Liablity Company is a thermal power company with a long history of infrastructure construction based on the Mengxi power grid.The company started preparations in 2004,and achieved “dual investment” by the end of August 2019.With the continuous acceleration of the transformation of the external environment,the oversupply of electricity,the strong development momentum of new energy,and the continuous improvement of external competition,it has brought great challenges to the company’s long-term stable development.It requires the company to timely formulate and update development strategy,clear development direction,put forward safeguard measures,for the company’s safe and stable development.Taking Inner Mongolia He Lin Power Limited Liablity Company as an example,this paper analyzes the industry environment of the company through PEST analysis model and analyzes the company’s competitive environment through the "five forces" model theory.In addition,it analyzes and judges the advantages,disadvantages,opportunities,and threats faced by the company in the development process through SWOT analysis.Through the above analysis,it found the company’s original business model to a certain extent,cannot adapt to the current market competition and promote high-quality development requirements of the enterprise.It makes clear the strategic choice of the company to carry out the integration strategy in the development strategy and the low-cost strategy in the competitive strategy,and puts forward various measures to ensure the implementation of the strategy. |
