As a basic industry,electric power industry undertakes the historical mission of providing sufficient and reliable electric power for economic development and social progress.With the rapid development of China's national economy and increased social electricity consumption,which puts forward higher requirements on the power grid quality.Due to the imbalance of regional energy structure,the construction and development of the power grid in the east and west are unbalanced which shows that Power supply is generally loose but locally tight.In order to enhance the power resource allocation capacity of the whole country,a power development pattern has been formed,with power transmission from the west to the east,mutual aid between the north and the south,and national networking.With promoting supply side reform of electric power industry,power supply mode,the supply efficiency and flexibility of the system need to be more optimized.To built efficient intelligent power system has become inevitable,and to construct of uhv transmission network with less line at long distance and smart power grid is the future development direction.Therefore,this objective puts forward higher requirements on electric power grid construction in China.Inner Mongolia autonomous region is an important energy export base in China.Clean energy sources such as wind power and solar energy are extremely abundant,and new energy industries such as wind power and photo-voltaic have obvious resource advantages.As the main force of power grid construction,Inner Mongolia power transmission and transformation Co.LTD.is facing with both unprecedented great development opportunities and profound challenges.How to adjust itself and seize opportunities in the new situation is the key issue for power transmission and transformation company.This paper takes Inner Mongolia power transmission and transformation Co.LTD.as the research object,in view of the enterprise development present situation and the development dilemma,using the basic theory of strategic management which obtains the PEST analysis,Five Forces Model,resource analysis,SWOT matrix to analysis the macro environment and micro environment,and then draw of the company's overall strategic target,strategic positioning and competitive strategy of substation business.In order to make the enterprise clear its position in the market,find the development direction of the enterprise,and improve its profitability and economic benefits.Finally,on the premise of implementing the safeguard measures of enterprise development strategy,this paper puts forward the specific strategic planning about company's development direction,functional objectives and talent positioning.The sources and basis of the industry's sustainable competitive advantage are obtained to ensure the implementation of the strategic goals of the power transmission and transformation industry.Based on the research on the development strategy of Inner Mongolia power transmission and transformation Co.LTD.,this paper concludes the competitive strategy of enterprise power transmission and transformation business.According to the advantages and disadvantages of the enterprise as well as the challenges of external environment and opportunities,it puts forward a reasonable plan and implementation direction for the specific implementation of the strategy,so as to make the enterprise develop for a long time and operate scientifically.It also provides a series of references for the strategic guidance and strategic planning of other power transmission and transformation industries in China.
