Intelligent monitoring of power transmission and transformation equipments can meet comprehensive, real-time and accurate demand for getting the information of the equipment. Based on the internet of things, it can provide technical support for realization of intelligent equipment. Meanwhile, there are some problems with information isolated island, oneness and security in this traditional monitoring system. It also analyses the monitoring system information security strategy with insuring the real-time of information. It provides the enhancement of device operation efficiency and power grid security.Firstly, in this thesis, the system architecture for the internet of power transmission and transformation equipments is researched. It puts forward the data demand of panoramic information. Based on the theories and methods of common information modeling of China’s power enterprise, a set of method asset modeling for transmission and transformation equipments is researched and practiced. Further, According to IEC61970/61968and power industry norms, the thesis starts modeling extendedly power enterprise asset information and asset services information using the Rational Rose software. Asset information model includes the basic information, on-line monitoring information, Operating and maintenance information and environment security information. At the same time, all of the asset services are elaborated and modeled, which include state estimating, failure diagnosis, state and fault prediction, maintenance decision-making and maintenance management. The unified model will be the foundation for intelligent monitoring.Then in this thesis, the information security challenges and safety protection strategies are analysed based on the system architecture for the internet of power transmission and transformation equipments. The analysis takes one of typical intelligent monitoring systems, SAS, as research subject. To meet the requirement for the data flow and data security objectives in IEC61850and IEC62351digital substations, a method of implementing identity authentication with extended safe message is put forword. Through the security analysis, it can meet the confidentiality, integrity and validity of message. Further, by taking the bus fault on the unified star and the ring network in the whole D2-1substation as an example, the OPNET network simulation and calculation are applied to the process of anthentication. It is proved that the security strategy for the communication network of monitoring system has both good security and real-time character.Finally, the researches in the thesis are summarized and the future work is prospected.
