| Guanzhong Hayuan style residence is an important part of Chinese traditional architecture,which plays an indispensable role in Chinese traditional residential architecture.As a brick carving in Guanzhong folk house in Shaanxi Province,it not only reflects the regional characteristics,cultural aesthetics and customs of Guanzhong area,but aslo it bears the spiritual core of Chinese traditional folk culture.The brick carving of Guanzhong traditional courtyard houses buildings not only beautifies the living environment,but also reflects the spiritual pursuit of the ancient Guanzhong residents,which is an important part of Chinese traditional folk culture that cannot be ignored.Among these various types of brick carvings,the ridge brick carvings are more unique.Regardless of the subject matter and form of these brick carvings,they are basically intentional and must be auspicious.They are rich in subject matter and diverse in form.In addition to characters and animal images,their images also include plants and flowers and a variety of abstract graphics,revealing the unique folk culture of Guanzhong.This paper conducts a series of researches on the classification,modeling features,composition rules,expression techniques and processing techniques of ridge brick carvings in the decoration of Guanzhong courtyard houses.It not only enables us to deeply understand Chinese ancient philosophical thoughts and wisdom,personality cultivation and pursuit,and humanistic moral connotation,but also to feel the aesthetic interest and spiritual pursuit of the ancients to culture.Right now,under the conditions of the national cultural rejuvenation,this paper analyzes and combs the Guanzhong courtyard ridge brick carvings,which not only contributes to the excavation,protection and inheritance of traditional culture,but also can provide research basis and theoretical support for the application of traditional decoration in modern art design,and it especially meaningful for promoting national culture and enhancing national self-confidence. |
