Research On Huizhou Traditional Architecture Brick Carving

Most areas of ancient Huizhou were located in Huangshan City,southern Anhui Province.The main areas include She County,Jixi,Yi County,Qimen,Xiuning,and Wuyuan in Jiangxi Province.Huizhou culture is not only extensive and profound,but also profoundly affects the traditional architecture of Huizhou.The most exquisite features of Huizhou traditional architecture are its unique changeable shape and exquisite carving and decorative elements.Huizhou brick carving is one of the typical important representatives of folk traditional carving and decoration art in Huizhou area of my country.It is also called "Huizhou three carvings" together with Huizhou stone carving and Huizhou wood carving.For thousands of years,the social,political and economic structure of Huizhou has been enduring,stable and harmonious.Many rich merchants have emerged from Huizhou merchants.In addition,there are a large number of high-quality clays to provide bricks and tiles and brick carvings in Huizhou.In the traditional architecture of Huizhou,it has directly promoted the progressive development of brick carvings in Huizhou,and the art forms of brick carvings in Huizhou are also constantly enriched.The brick carvings of Huizhou ancestral hall,academy,ancient residential groups and other buildings that have survived to this day exemplify a very high level of skill and craftsmanship.So far,although many scholars have done research on brick carvings in Huizhou and traditional buildings in Huizhou,there are still few research results on the brick carving system in Huizhou on the macro level.In addition,the craftsmanship,carving techniques,and rich themes of brick carvings in Huizhou all reflect the wisdom of the ancients' building skills.The accumulation of these experiences has many implications for modern architectural design.Therefore,it is necessary to systematically study and sort out Huizhou traditional architectural brick carving.This article is divided into six chapters.The first chapter is an introduction.The research background,research objects,research purpose and significance are elaborated in detail.The research status of Huizhou traditional brick carving is summarized,and the research content and methods of this paper are proposed.The second chapter summarizes the origin,development process,background influence,and basic characteristics of Huizhou brick carving,and summarizes the development and basic features of Huizhou brick carving.The third chapter describes the engraving techniques,engraving themes and production techniques of brick carvings in Huizhou in detail,and summarizes all previous research results.The fourth chapter summarizes the specific parts of Huizhou brick carvings commonly used in buildings.It elaborate on the application types and decoration of brick carvings in various parts of traditional buildings in Huizhou.Based on the research results of southern Anhui,the application parts and decoration of brick carvings in Huizhou are analyzed and obtained.Reached a certain conclusion.The fifth chapter mainly takes Huizhou brick carving in modern society as an entry point,analyzes the application methods and functions of Huizhou brick carving in modern architecture,and puts forward the possible problems and solutions of Huizhou brick carving in modern society.The sixth chapter mainly summarizes the research results of Huizhou brick carving,the feasibility and prospect of further research.This article is based on the investigation of some classic buildings existing in the Huizhou area of southern Anhui,through literature analysis,field investigation,and inductive analysis,starting from the aspects of Huizhou brick carving techniques,carving themes,production techniques,and application parts to modern architectural applications.The carving unfolded a more detailed and systematic combing.The author divides the decoration of Huizhou brick carving into three categories: roof part,door and window part,and other auxiliary parts according to the application parts of Huizhou brick carving in architecture,and explains in detail the different application themes of Huizhou brick carving decoration in different parts of different buildings.The theme of brick decoration in Huizhou is roughly divided into flowers and plants,birds and beasts,auspicious patterns,landscapes,characters,characters and stories.Based on some existing classic architectural research materials in the Huizhou area of southern Anhui,they are tabulated and summarized into data,Analyze and draw certain conclusions.Try to sort out all aspects of Huizhou brick carving as much as possible,discuss the cultural connotation of Huizhou brick carving,create wisdom,and apply modern architecture,and put forward the existing problems and protection measures of Huizhou brick carving at this stage.Figure [54] table [5] reference [45]...
