Matching of manpower and the post,as the core issues in human resources management,is both the starting point and the end-result of all research areas in human resources.Thus,studying this issue is of great guiding significance for the matching of manpower and the post in the enterprise and other organizations.This article takes our country's lagest coal mining enterprise,Shendong Coal Group(short for Shendong in the following chapters),the most domestic representative and demonstrative coal enterprises,as the subject investigated,giving a presentation of Shendong's enterprise status,analyzing problems in human resources management,present condition of the matching of manpower and the post as well as the problems,especially problems in the matching areas,clarifying its great significance in promoting Shendong's human resources management.This article takes Shendong as the breakthrough point,intensivly studying its position management,competencies management as well as matching of manpower and the post with related theory and research methods of modern human resources positions and abilities,introducing its new theory and innovative achievements in this area,summarizing the position value sequence and competence model with Shendong's peculia characteristics in coal enterprises.It takes the open selection of general manager and executive general manager with competence model and matching theory of manpower and the post in Shendong as an example,emphasizing the matching application in human resources management area,meanwhile,it also presents Shendong's matching application in the areas such as performance,training,recruitment and workforce development.It is expected to draw on the experience of the theory,methods,application achievements and experience in Shendong's matching of manpower and the post,promoting domestic coal enterprises'human resources management and core competence.
