Research On The Relationship Between The Level Of Urbanization And The Pressure On Resources And Environment In The South Shandong Economic Zone

Urbanization is a symbol of human development and social progress and an inevitable outcome of historical development.The resource environment provides production and living materials for survival and development,and is the cornerstone of urban development.With the rapid development of the economy,the contradiction between the process of urbanization and resources and environment is becoming more and more prominent.It is a hot topic to study on the relationship between urbanization and resource-environment in geography,especially in underdeveloped areas.The Lunan economic belt is an underdeveloped area in Shandong Province.It has important reference value to study the relationship between urbanization level and resource-environment stress,which is conducive to promoting the coordinated development of urbanization level and ecological environment in this area.Based on the research results and the related theories of urbanization and resource environment at home and abroad,this paper takes the five cities of Lunan Economic Belt as the research object,and uses the comprehensive evaluation method to measure the urbanization level of Lunan Economic Belt from 1998 to 2017.The resource-environmental stress is measured by the method of resource-environmental stress index.The correlation analysis and multiple logistic regression are used to explore the correlation between urbanization and resource-environment stress,and the relationship between the two items is analyzed more deeply and systematically.The paper selects 2017 as the time node to analyze the urbanization level and resourceenvironment stress of five cities in Lunan Economic Belt.The conclusions are as follows:(1)The comprehensive score of urbanization level of Lunan Economic Belt increased gradually from 1998 to 2017,and has been showing a rising trend,and the score of the first principal component “modernization level factor” and the trend of urbanization level is consistent.(2)In 2017,the development level of urbanization in five cities in Lunan Economic Belt is from high to low: Linyi City,Rizhao City,Jining City,Zaozhuang City,Heze City,The development speed of urbanization level among regions is Lingang District,Canal Coastal Area and Jingxin Coastal Area from high to low.(3)During the research period,the resource-environmental stress firstly increased in fluctuation and then declined,and then continued to decline,showing an inverted "U" curve as a whole.The pressure was in the stage of medium pressure and above.The utilization of resources and environment was generally divided into three stages: extensive development stage,accelerated development stage and reflective development stage.(4)In 2017,the resource-environmental stress of five cities in LunanEconomic Belt are in the order of Linyi City,Jining City,Rizhao City,Heze City and Zaozhuang City.And the interregional stresses were coastal area and inland area from high to low.(5)During the period of study,the urbanization level and the resources-environment stress experienced two stages.From 1998 to 2014,the urbanization level showed a "double-increasing" trend,and the urbanization level was faster than the resources-environment stress.After 2014,the urbanization level showed a "opposite" trend,and the growth rate of urbanization level was slower than the resources-environment stress.There was a high correlation between the two and the fitting effect was good.Obviously,there is a linear relationship between two directions,and resources contributes more to the process of urbanization,the effect of "modernization level factor" on the resources-environment stress is more obvious,but the effect of environment on urbanization development and "quality of life factor" on the resources-environment stress can not be ignored.According to the research conclusion and the actual situation of five cities,this paper puts forward countermeasures and suggestions from three aspects: promoting the level of urbanization,rationally exploiting and utilizing resources and environment,and coordinating the relationship between urbanization and resources and environment,in order to provide a scientific basis for the sustainable and coordinated development of the region in the future.
