| Employees in our country are facing unprecedented competition and the work stress because of the high-speed development of the society and the deepening of the global economic integration.The recent financial crisis slows down the development of global economy and affects the banking industry directly.It makes bank employees in our country sustain much more stress than employees from other industries.Improving the stress management and reducing the work stress are the key points to enhance the competitiveness of the banking industry.Based on theories of the work stress,stress source and stress management and the characteristics of the banking industry,we optimized and designed the stress level and stress source questionnaires.These questionnaires were sent to employees of a bank in Changsha.The range of employees covered different job categories,different age groups and different work sites,etc.This thesis used SPSS 21 and other tools to analyze 146 valid questionnaires,including the fundamental quantitative analysis of stress and stress source,and statistics analysis such as the correlation coefficient and single factor ANOVA.It can be concluded that the work stress and six different aspects of stress source(working condition,role stress,interpersonal relationship,career development,organization structure and family-work mutual influence)showed obvious differences(or significant differences)in different groups of employees.Based on the abovementioned conclusion and commonness of banking industry,and combined with the discussions of present situation and deficiency of the stress management of banking industry,we proposed solutions for the stress management from the enterprise level to the individual level.In addition,we gave suggestions for the future theories and practices research of the banking industries' stress management. |
