At this stage,food and drug safety has become a hot issue in the society,and also a typical government and social issues related to the national economy and the people's livelihood.With the economic and social development,there will be lots of incidents related to food and drug safety every year,this will bring a great threat to the health of the people.To improve this situation,governments have to strengthen the strict supervision of food and drug comprehensively,food and drug safety has become an important evaluation index on the quality of public life,social management and the effect of the country's legal construction.In recent years,incidents related to food and drug safety have erupted frequently,which posed a serious threat to the health and life of the masses,and also had shaken the situation of social stability to a certain extent.Behind these incidents,we can see the absence of the food and drug regulatory authorities in some of the work.To strengthen the research of China's food and drug supervision,perfect the food and drug regulatory system,implement the effective regulatory measures to prevent and reduce food and drug safety accidents fundamentally,we need establish a good image of the government to safeguard the people's rights and interests and other aspects.Based on the related content about the research of food and drug supervision at home and abroad,on the stage,we introduced the status of the food and drug regulatory of Jiangsu Province,in order to find out the current supervision problems and deficiencies in the system,such as running sluggish,function disorder,weak supervision and lack of business ethics and integrity etc.,Through analysis of the reason and learning the advanced experience from some developed countries such as Europe and the United States Food and drug supervision and management,we propose that we can perfect the relevant legal system,optimize the allocation of resources,improve the regulatory mechanism to optimize the supervision of social environment and other aspects,in order to provide reference and practical basis for the further development of Jiangsu food and drug supervision.
