Comparative Study On Practice Of Green Supply Chain In Small Scale Enterprises In Pakistan And China

Environmental pollution is one of the major challenges faced by human beings in day to day life.The emissions of toxic gases are from the industries and automobiles.To overcome these challenges,the industries may introduce Green practices into their business.The industries must pay more attention in practicing supply chain for a healthier environment.The aim of this research is to identify the lean and green wastes accruing in the small-scale industries in Pakistan and recommending the suitable waste reduction methods and techniques for eliminating waste i.e.exertion of Green Supply Chain.The sectors taken for this study include food processing,Garment Manufacturing and Automobile accessories manufacturing sectors.The organizations today concentrate more on their sustainability in the market by cost cutting,improving quality and reducing lead time rather than focusing on environmental challenges.Lack of awareness and reluctance has affected the environment.The significance of this research is to provide the organizations with practical and feasible solutions to keep the environment healthier in the future and save the universe from destruction.The exploration thesis recognizes the imperative outcomes that cause effect on the earth brought about by the manufacturing sector.The ventures are related to more lean waste inside their product life cycle handle.The major green waste from their disposal methods have high impact on environmental condition.These wastes must be reduced or eliminated by practicing a suitable supply chain network.In present the enterprises doesn't practice any supply chain in their organization.To apply supply chain network could decrease the ecological pressure and waste of the organizations to some extent.The Pakistan ventures encounters both waste,so it needs to coordinate lean for practicing green supply chain,the usage of lean would pay a route for green supply chain administration.Subsequently of it a far reaching lean and green model is proposed for the ventures because the model is made from both lean and green waste diminishment methods and it likewise helps in accomplishing both lean and green business comes about.Small scale industries in Pakistan need a sustainable development and hence,the awareness and demand for green products must be encouraged.The industries should initially improve the knowledge on lean and green supply chain management and adopt the compatible ways of implementing/practicing the supply chain in their manufacturing firm.Funding from the government for implementing the concept and spreading the knowledge on the concept is necessary.To complete this research,a research methodology was used by conducting surveys to collect data from three small scale industries in Pakistan,representing Automobile spare parts,Garment Manufacturing and Food Processing.This study is a descriptive research towards implementation of GSCM in Pakistan's SSI's.The primary data has been collected from respective respondents through face to face interviews.The purpose of concentrating on these three industries was able to understand the problems and obstacles they face on implementing GSCM.This research will effectively meter the execution of the Pakistan business which incorporates small-scale industrial houses.In this review,we examined the different condition variables influencing in the manufacturing areas while greening the supply chain as recognized from the literature review.The lean waste recognized in the process could be disposed of by rehearsing reasonable lean tools and techniques.The final transfer waste is the green waste.The technique for transfer rehearsed by the SSIs in Pakistan demonstrates a confirmation of how much they are serious towards the Environmental conditions.The research tries to clarify some reasonable waste administration systems for the ventures and examines about significance of government part on making this procedure conceivable the small-scale industries experience wastes,so it must integrate lean for practicing green supply chain,the implementation of lean would pay a way for green supply chain management.Because of it,a comprehensive lean and green model is suggested for the industries because the model is composed of both lean and green waste reduction techniques and it also helps in achieving both lean and green business results.
