The market and the customers'requirements changes all the time, also the price drop and shorter deliver time, has raised up more requirements on company X's supply chain management.1. It's hard to predict the market, judging from the end product trend and material variety, we can see a very clear Bullwhip effect. Company need a faster respond time on end supply chain.2. End response is slow. Judging from the general index of company X, the inventory index is high. Customer requirements respond time is just the average industry level. Planning department is the hinge of a company. Company X was using human labor to operate the huge management system, there were many leaks in the system. How can the Planning, buyer arid logistics department cooperate when facing upstream vendors or downstream customer changes. Company X does not have clear mind on how to modify and the policy is not clearly defined. The relationship between company X and upstream vendors is mixed type. For panel section, the standardization of materials for panels is high and monopolized by abroad vendors, the deliver time is very long. For module section which is mostly customized, because of the competition between native vendors, the deliver time is short, normally 14 days.Judging from end product and materials standardization, company x is mixed type, half standardization and half customization. The supply chain structure is more and more complex, so company x need to face the problems in supply chain management, also need higher elasticity to meet the deeper and wider supply chain requirements.By analyzing the previous characteristic, using the Lean-agile supply chain management idea and chose different strategies, that is, Pareto curve, de-coupling point and base-surge requirements divide, to discuss: how to categorize the market to enforce the requirements prediction; how to optimize the management system and routines; how to strengthen the relationship with upstream supply chain; how to deal with the complicate supply chain structure.
