Lean Thinking Used In SCM Inventory Management

With the global economic incorporate development, many corporations face big competition and challenge from outside and inside, any company who want to get the advanced position in the market, should not only provide the service to meet customer increasing special requirement but also do well in cost control. While supply chain inventory management has been to one key factor to improve company's competition, more and more company has realized that due to the information cann't be published timely and the management technology constrain caused the high inventory happened in supply chain. So how to improve the supply chain inventory management has been promote to a strategy level.This thesis mainly discuss the lean manufacture theories used in supply chain inventory control and through the Isola case to show that it is a good way to do inventory control.
