Research On The Inpact Of Agricultural Modernization Deveopment On The Urban-rural Income Gap

China is a big agricultural country,with agriculture as its basic survival industry.If our country is to realize the basic socialist modernization in 2035,the agriculture is an indispensable part.The exploration of the income between urban and rural residents and the way to narrow the gap has always been a very important issue in the macroeconomic management and social economic system reform in China.In order to narrow the income gap,we must find the influencing factors,so that we can formulate targeted policies and measures,and promote the integration of urban and rural development.Although the improvement of agricultural modernization seems to be more biased towards rural areas,it is still worth exploring whether we can really benefit rural residents and increase the relative income of them.First of all,this article reviews the literature related to the agricultural modernization and the urban-rural income gap,analyzing the main characteristic and development trend of modern agricultural modernization based on the relevant documents,which includes three aspects: Agricultural Science and technology ?agricultural intensive and agricultural ecology.From these three aspects,the paper analyzes the mechanism of its impact on the income gap,which lays a theoretical foundation for the following empirical research.Besides,it analyzes the current situation of agricultural modernization and the income gap in China,as long as summarizing the main problems existing in the development of agricultural modernization.Then,with a comprehensive reference to the practice of other scholars,it selects eight representative indicators,and use the entropy method to deal with the selected indexes without dimensionless processing and assignment,a comprehensive index is formed by the MATLAB software.Based on that,we use empirical data from 30 provinces in China from 2006 to 2014 to analyze the direction and extent of the impact of China's agricultural modernization on the urban-rural income gap,not only in as a whole but also from each secondary index.Finally,according to the empirical results and problems about agricultural modernization in China,it put forward relevant suggestions to promote agricultural modernization,as well as narrowing the income gap between urban and rural areas in our country.
