Study On The Evaluation Of Agricultural Modernization Level In Ningxia

The 19th CPC National Congress report pointed out that the realization of two centenary goals cannot be achieved without agricultural modernization.Agricultural modernization is the foundation of building a moderately prosperous society in all respects and building a socialist modern country in an all-round way.In 2018,the central document of the central government proposed that,by 2035,the rural revitalization would achieve decisive progress,and the modernization of agriculture and rural areas would be basically realized.Agriculture plays an important role in economic development of Ningxia,and its modernization level directly influences the realization of rural revitalization strategy.This paper combs the domestic and international literature on agricultural modernization,defines the concept of agricultural modernization,points out its characteristics and the standards of measurement,establishes a set of index system which meets the actual situation in Ningxia,uses the entropy value method to calculate the index weight,uses comparative analysis method,multi-index comprehensive measurement method and other methods to study on the evaluation of agricultural modernization level in Ningxia.The study mainly includes a longitudinal comparative analysis of the development level of Ningxia agricultural modernization from 2005 to 2016 and a horizontal comparative analysis about the agricultural modernization level of Ningxia and other 30 provinces in 2016.Through analysis,this paper points out the weakness and deficiency of the agricultural modernization in Ningxia,and draws the following conclusions:from 2005 to 2016,the comprehensive index of agricultural modernization in Ningxia showed an upward trend,but the rate of increasement is slow.In the 31 provinces,Ningxia ranks 25th in comprehensive evaluation index of agricultural modernization,and the ranking is relatively late.The level of agricultural modernization in Ningxia is still relatively low.Compared with the levels of agricultural modernization in the eastern provinces,such as Zhejiang and Fujian,there is a gap between Ningxia and other eastern provinces.At last,the paper puts forward some policy suggestions to promote the level of agricultural modernization in Ningxia in the aspect of promoting the coordinated development of planting,animal husbandry and fishery,strengthening the strength of modern agriculture technology,improving the policy of strengthening agriculture,benefiting agriculture and enriching agriculture,protecting the environment,strengthening modern agriculture management system,broadening the development road of agricultural modernization,which is suposed to promote Ningxia agricultural modernization develop in a healthy direction and help the rural revitalization.
