Planning And Application Of City Level GPON Optical Fiber Access Network Of China Unicom

User access to broadband is the strategic resource and infrastructure of China's information network,and it is the foundation of national informatization.Moreover,the upper limit of bandwidth is the bottleneck of every network development,and its fundamental reason is that high-speed access rate is the prerequisite for the development of modern networks(including Internet of things,cloud computing and next generation Internet).Access network is not only a telecommunication network,but also a particularly important part of the communication network,for the future development has a very important role.In the latest definition,access network has been the largest part of the telecom network,and because of the uniqueness of the access network,its cost in the whole network has become larger and larger,even accounting for two fifths of the entire network investment.Moreover,due to the location of the access network,the services it provides has a great impact on the user's experience.Access network is still the most fierce part of the competition among communication operators.With the rapid increase of the number of social users,the role of communication technology in communication services is more significant.In order to meet the needs of the majority of users,communication operators adjust broadband access business in many aspects,and gradually establish personalized,diversified and broadband business model.The research content of this paper is on the basis of referring to a large number of domestic and foreign cutting-edge literature,combined with the help and support of colleagues in the maintenance department of a city branch of China Unicom,the application of GPON in local access network is proposed.Several access network technologies are summarized,and the actual situation of local access network and FTTHtransformation project are analyzed and described.Through the analysis and research of access network basic technology,ADSL technology,EPON Technology and GPON technology,as well as the local demand analysis of a city level company of China Unicom,the feasible scheme is formulated;for the local application from the beginning of design to the end of construction,repeated measurement shall be carried out according to the design drawings before the construction of optical cable line engineering.In the process of repeated measurement,it is necessary to report the feedback to the construction unit and the design unit in time when the route is changed due to other environmental changes,or there are hazards and hidden dangers in the line safety.The construction can be carried out only after the design change notice is obtained.And the specific solutions to the problems after the completion of the project: replace the Gigabit port of the upper board with the 10 Gigabit port to improve the capacity of the OLT;build a new OLT to cut off some users to the new OLT to divert the users;add a Gigabit uplink port on the upper board,and gather the two Gigabit ports to improve the OLT capacity.After the meeting,we decided to adopt the three methods at the same time,which successfully solved the problems and removed the hidden dangers,which paved the way for further expansion and high-end brand building in the future.
