At the 19 th National Congress of the communist party of China,the party and the state explicitly put forward a strategy for the revitalization of the countryside from the overall perspective of socialist modernization construction,which injected a new era of development momentum into the development of the "three rural issues".At the same time,China has stepped into the flood of information society,new media emerge in an endless stream,and people's understanding and use of media are in constant development and renewal,which also brings new opportunities and challenges to farmers.Through information dissemination and public opinion guidance,mass communication can improve farmers' media literacy,stimulate their subjective initiative,and cultivate their ability to use media in production and life.Enabling farmers to enrich themselves both materially and spiritually is the central role of the mass media and the key to the implementation of the rural-revitalization strategy.Farmers are the masters of the countryside,and their media literacy plays an important role in the implementation of the rural revitalization strategy.With the background of rural revitalization strategy and the research object of farmers' media literacy,this paper conducts a detailed investigation and research on Jindu village and Yangshi village in junyang county,Anhui province through questionnaire survey and in-depth interview by combining theoretical analysis and empirical analysis.The questionnaire mainly focused on the media literacy status of farmers,namely the media exposure,information judgment ability,information analysis and interpretation ability,and media participation and use ability.Then,according to the relevant theoretical knowledge of media literacy,SPSS software was used to analyze the questionnaire data and summarize the status quo of farmers' media literacy.Then,according to the status quo of the survey,the author finds out the incongruent problems of farmers' media literacy in the process of implementing the rvitalization strategy,such as unbalanced media contact,weak media evaluation ability,insufficient media interpretation and analysis ability,and negative media participation intention.Finally,we should actively explore effective countermeasures to improve farmers' media literacy,so as to make it closely cooperate with and interact with the national rural revitalization strategy,and jointly promote the great leap forward of rural areas in China.It is a complicated and time-consuming project to improve themedia literacy of rural residents.Therefore,in order to achieve good educational results,we need the joint efforts of the government,the media,schools and farmers themselves.Through this research,the author puts forward some ideas to solve the problems from the macro level,in the hope of benefiting the implementation of the rural revitalization strategy and providing an effective basis for the formulation of relevant policies and regulations.
