A Study On The Image Of Farmers In Farmers' Daily Under The Strategic Background Of Rural Revitalization(2017.1-2019.2)

The state has been paying attention to the development of agriculture,countryside and farmers,continuously promulgating the "No.1 Document" related to the theme of agriculture,rural areas and the strategy of Rural Revitalization put forward by the Nineteenth National Congress,and emphatically mentioning that the issue of agriculture,rural areas and farmers is a fundamental issue related to the national economy and people's livelihood,which must be the top priority of the development of the whole Party.Nowadays,many people have a stereotyped image of farmers,and there are cognitive biases in the image of farmers.Farmers,as the main body of the three rural issues,play an important role in building a well-off society in an all-round way and a new socialist countryside.At the same time,the reports on the three rural issues have become the focus of media attention.As the watcher of society,the media need to report the image of farmers objectively,authentically and comprehensively.Farmer Daily is a comprehensive Party newspaper,which has certain authority and representativeness in shaping the image of farmers,and also affects the audience's views and attitudes towards the image of farmers.Therefore,the Peasant Daily needs to construct a real and comprehensive image of peasants when it transmits the information of agriculture,countryside and farmers.For this reason,this paper mainly takes the Peasant Daily between January 2017 and February 2019 as the research sample to analyze the image of peasants appearing in this period.In the first year of implementing the strategy of rural revitalization,the image of farmers in the "Peasant Daily" changed and the overall rural economic development situation.Through content analysis,this paper explores the construction of peasant image in Peasant Daily from the perspectives of peasant's gender,professional image,behavior image and quality image.The research finds that under the background of the strategy of rural revitalization,the image of peasants in the Peasant Daily tends to get rid of poverty and become rich,and pays too much attention to the positive image.At the same time,there are still some problems,such as the immobilization of image reporting mode,the contrast between cadre image and peasant image,the deviation of regional report,and the imbalance of female peasant image structure.The author believes that when building the image of farmers,Party newspapers should increase the diversity of reporting angles,pay attention to the principle of "three closeness" close to the actual people,and highlight the main status of farmers.
