During the period of media transformation,the multi-symbiosis of traditional media and emerging media in the minority society has profoundly affected the process of ethnic minority culture transformation.Social media provides a platform for interactive communication and cultural performances,builds a new "circle",and also brings new opportunities for the spread and inheritance of minority folk song culture.This article takes the cultural representation and the ritual view of communication as the theoretical perspective,adopts a combined research method of online ethnography and field survey,takes the online practice of the Yunnan Wa nationality folk song group and group members as the online field point,and takes Wa nationality Autonomous County of Cangyuan as the line Go to the field to investigate the use of the Wa nationality in Yunnan and the spread of folk song culture.In the existing research,there are relatively few studies on the Wa culture from the perspective of communication studies.There is a lack of investigations on the media contact and social and cultural changes of the Wa nationality in Yunnan under the new media environment,especially the lack of media contact research on the Wa individuals in Yunnan.Ignoring the relationship between the culture of the Wa folk songs in Yunnan and the change of media,the research on the group of Wa nationality in Yunnan is blank.From the perspective of communication theory,this article focuses on the Yunnan Wa ethnic group composed of blood,geography,ethnic origin,and interest.It focuses on the media usage of Wa individuals and groups,as well as online cultural practices,and pays attention to Yunnan.The spread,inheritance and change of Wa nationality folk song culture in the new media is the innovation of this research.The introduction part of this article discusses the origin of research,research design,and research status,emphasizing ethnography as a method for studying other social and cultural aspects,and requires researchers to go deep into the field for participatory observation.The first chapter analyzes the media involvement process of Yunnan Wa folk songs,from spoken media,body media,storage media to social media,the spread space of Yunnan Wa folk songs extends from offline to online.The second chapter analyzes the process of representation symbol operation and meaning production in the Wa folk song group in Yunnan from the perspective of cultural representation.Through the online cultural practice,the members of the group enriched the connotation of the folk songs of the Wa nationality on the basis of innovative representations.The third chapter discusses the process of the Yunnan Wa nationality from the double "de-embedding" of physical and cultural space to the "re-embedding" of the virtual space,and discusses what kind of structure the Yunnan Wa has constructed in this turn.Cultural ceremony and order.The fourth chapter analyzes the identity,cultural identity and ethnic identity of the Wa folk song group in Yunnan from the perspective of identity.The members of the group distinguished their own ethnic groups from other ethnic groups by sharing cultural representations and collective memories.The offline identification extended to the online,and the Yunnan Wa folk song group became a new field for the aggregation of the Wa ethnic group.The fifth chapter discusses the influence of media technology on the spread and inheritance of Yunnan Wa folk song culture.The new media enables everyone to participate,and the culture gains new vitality in its creation and application.The study found that in the process of media change,the Wa national folk song culture in Yunnan gradually became more involved,and the deeper the Wa folk song tradition and media technology,the stronger its communication,influence and vitality.The development of the folk songs of the Wa nationality in Yunnan shows the characteristics of the integration of the new and the old,and the struggle between tradition and modernity.On the one hand,under the influence of the rise of individualism,the Wa ethnic group has caused a double "de-embedding" of physical space and cultural space,and the trend of cultural faults in the generational transmission of the Wa culture has become more and more obvious;on the other hand,although the Wa tradition in Yunnan The folk song culture has gradually declined in the real society,but a new development method and communication system have been generated in the virtual space of the Wa folk group in Yunnan.The group membershave completed the "re-embedding" of self-imagination,ethnic imagination and social imagination.Realized the online "transplantation" of offline cultural life and social relations.Yunnan Wa Folk Song Group has created a new sharing platform for Wa communities.Individuals' online cultural practices have reconstructed their representations as a kind of culture by creating new “ languages ”,created new interactive spaces,and completed the reproduction of communication ceremony.
