Investigation And Research On Status And Problems In The Construction Of County-level Convergence Media Center In Gansu Province

With the rapid development of emerging media,information dissemination increasingly reflects the trend of networking,mobility,and socialization.In order to pursue its own development,traditional media must be deeply integrated with new media.From August 21 to 22,2018,General Secretary Xi Jinping delivered an important speech at the National Propaganda and Ideological Work Conference,pointing out that "we must do a good job in building county-level convergence media centers to better guide the masses and serve the masses." Entering the grassroots communication pattern,the county-level convergence media center construction has risen to the national strategic level.As a representative province in the western region,Gansu Province is relatively backward in the process of media integration.Therefore,in view of the development status of the county-level convergence media center in Gansu Province,referring to the problems at the stage of emergence,it is the focus of this study.The research used Gansu Provincial Rong Media Center as a sample,using questionnaire surveys,field surveys and in-depth interviews.The study found that there are six major problems in the construction of the county-level convergence media center in Gansu Province,such as inability to keep up with the thinking,rigid institutional mechanisms,retention of high-quality talent,inadequate funding,poor platform operation,and still old content production.It also put forward six key points for the construction of thinking change,system and mechanism reform,talent selection and retention,strengthening capital guarantee,building a good platform,and improving content quality.Finally,the county-level convergence media center should pay attention to the county-level platform Thinkingabout the four relationships with the provincial platform,the masses and political achievements,government subsidies and self-made blood,and perseverance and reform,in order to provide some ideas and inspiration for the reform and development path of the county-level convergence media center in Gansu Province.
