Research On Ethical Problems In Chinese Disaster Reporting In The New Media Era

In the new media era,the development of mass communication technology has changed the original mass communication pattern,and disaster reports have also undergone profound changes due to the change of the communication pattern: news media,new media,and self-media together constitute the main body of communication,and the public has the dual attributes of recipients and passers;the mode of communication from the original single mode to the current interactive mode,traditional media and new media resonate with the same frequency through the Internet platform,and participate in disaster reporting together;the content of disaster reporting has also become more diverse.The change in the communication pattern provides more possibilities for disaster reporting,but also leads to the emergence of ethical issues.From the perspective of communication elements,the ethics of disaster reporting is faced with the impact of illegibility of subjective consciousness,deterioration of media competition,and alienation of information.There have been ethical issues such as false news,consumer disasters.In addition,disaster reporting is also faced with conflicts between public opinion supervision and local protectionism,news professionalism and humanitarianism,news truth and news aging,privacy right and informed consent right,and improper choice will touch the red line of media ethics.Based on the changes in the communication pattern of the new media era and the practical difficulties faced by disaster reporting,this article attempts to explore the reality of solving the ethical problems of disaster reporting in the new media era from the three dimensions of macro social level,meso media organization level,and micro individual level.This article believes that in the new media era,disaster reportingshould build ethics for the multiple communication subjects by reshaping the professionalism of the news and enhancing the role awareness of the communication subjects.Rule of law management,perfect media ethics and norms system and other ways to create a good media ethics environment for disaster reporting,to achieve the ability to abide by media ethics without supervision,and influence and shape people with a favorable social environment and atmosphere.
