Research On Media Ethics Of The Minors Reports

Minors who are treated as an important part in China’s socialist developmentwhich can not be ignored，the reports about them have been the focus of publicattention. However， with the rapid development of informations and the fiercecompetition in the market，a growing number of problems aroused，such as newsinfringement，excessive publicity, moral dislocation and other reports related to thefield of minors reported. Then why do these problems happen; whether there is adifference between the Media coverage and the expectations of minors; mediapractitioners should follow what kind of media ethics system when they confused.Under the guidance of the confusion, the author think it is necessary to analysis mediaethics.My research is on the basis of Katz’s theory “use and gratifications”, analyzeboth the minors and the media. Full text total more than30,000words, is dividedinto preface, text and conclusion three fractions. The preface mainly elaboratestextual choose back ground and theory and realistic meaning, the searchpoint, crux and innovation click, and study a method. The text is divided into threechapters,the first chapter contains three parts, the first part is the practical research onminors, get the information of the general social characteristics, the frequency ofmedia contact, the motivation of media use, what content they contact, theirevaluation on media, their demand and need for media and so on. The second part isthe content analysis on the media, know the characteristics of reportson the minors and find the problem existed in reports. The third part is theawareness of the media practitioners to minors. Based on the above analysis, theauthor put forward the conclusion of the research which is mainly about the causesof media ethics. The final part is the research discussion which is about how tobuild the media ethics in the specification system of minors’ reports. The epilogue part not only has the overview of the results, but also proposes the deficiency ofthe research,this conclusion can provide a reference for the future researchers.The biggest innovation of this research is that the past research which is focuson minors’ reports always based on the perspective of others,such as thegovernment, officials, media and so on.Reports which are base on the perspective ofminors are relatively small.But my research is bases on the comparative of minorsand media perspective, so the conclusion will be more closeness and comprehensive;At the same time,the research starting from the perspective of media ethics,it canbroaden the width and breadth of the minors’ reports.
