| Social progress and technological development put forward more and more requirements on people's literacy.From the information literacy in the Internet era,to the data literacy in the big data era,to the media literacy in the all-media era,to the financial literacy in the inclusive financial market,to the health literacy in the "national health" era,to the environmental literacy required by the construction of ecological civilization,and so on.University libraries should respond to the diversified needs of society and college students,actively carry out the education of multiliteracies,and cultivate new talents with comprehensive development.This paper takes the multiliteracies education of university library students as the research subject.Firstly,it summarizes the concept and connotation of multiliteracies,the characteristics and forms of multiliteracies education,the relevant theories and the necessity,feasibility,content and goal of developing college students' multiliteracies education in university library.Secondly,it investigates and analyzes the present situation of multiliteracies education in university libraries at home and abroad and college students multiliteracies education needs using network investigation method and questionnaire survey method.Then it summarizes the problems existing in university library multiliteracies education,including the lack of policy theory instruction,the library subjective initiative is poor;The lack of extensive cooperation among educational subjects affects the comprehensive development of educational activities;The content of education emphasizes theory rather than practice,and it is difficult to get close to social life;The form of education is monotonous and old,and it is difficult to attract readers to participate in it.After that,combining with the needs and problems,the paper constructs a multiliteracies education system for university library students from five aspects: the main body of education,the object of education,the content of education,the goal of education and the form of education.Finally,under the guidance of the system framework,several suggestions for improvement are put forward,including accelerating the introduction of relevant policies and theoretical research on the multiliteracies education of college students,and promoting the active development of multiliteracies education in university libraries;cultivating professional librarians and seeking cooperation from both inside and outside,so that more educational subjects can participate in the activities of college students' multiliteracieseducation;considering the realistic needs of college students,integrate all kinds of educational resources,and make the educational content more close to their study and life;developing various forms of education and attract more college students to participate in library services with novel forms of activities and comfortable activity space.The practice of multiliteracies education for university library students in our country has achieved initial results.It is of great significance for university libraries to develop their educational functions and enhance their social value to carry out theoretical research and practical exploration on the multiliteracies education of college students. |
