"Active Aging":An Innovative Narrative Study Of Contemporary Foreign Senior Variety Shows

With the improvement of medical technology and living conditions,the global aging problem is on the increase.According to the 2019 World Population Outlook data released by the United Nations,the average life expectancy of the world population increased from 64.2 years to 72.6 years from 1990 to 2019,of which the population over 65 years old is now the fastest growing age group.At present,this group accounts for about 9% of the world's population and is expected to increase to16% by 2050.In other words,one in six people is over 65.Aging phenomenon and related social problems are becoming increasingly prominent.Under this background,this paper takes foreign senior arts programs as the research object,takes positive aging theory and television narrative theory as the analysis framework,and takes literature method,case analysis method and text analysis method as the basic research methods,and selects foreign senior arts programs that have been excellent and successful.The concept of "active aging" put forward by the United Nations is based on the principles of "independence,participation,dignity,care and self-realization".It mainly creates convenience through policy and organizational reforms and through the power of the government and society.It refers to a platform for the elderly to participate in society to ensure that they continue to participate in socio-economic,cultural and civic issues,so that "old age makes a difference" can be implemented.The most obvious feature of active aging is that population aging is no longer an obstacle to social progress.It requires everyone to face it with a more positive attitude.Respect the self-power of the elderly and respect the self of the elderly.Select and review the self-esteem of the elderly so that they can be reintegrated and participate in society.This concept will be proved and reflected in this article through the case analysis of four famous and successful foreign senior arts programs,summarizing the reference significance of foreign senior arts programs to our country,and how to look into our senior arts programs,which will provide a template and reference for the future development of Chinese senior arts programs.
