The Research Of Private Sphere Exposure In Television Troubleshooting Shows

Under the influence of the first domestic mediation program which called "mind garden" starting on TV, mediation programs taken off in 2003. After the mediation law of People’s Republic of China came out, mediation programs growth rapidly. As a new form of emotional conversation media, mediation program not only steadily accepted by audiences but became prosper gradually.TV mediation is a new form of social engineering. Also, it is a new way to solve civil disputes. At the same time, TV mediation has played an important role in offering solution to social conflicts and maintaining social stability. However, there are also lots of improvements should be taken by mediation programs. TV mediation programs always take impermissible invasion of privacy because stories come from personal life. Mediators are not professional enough to solve problems cause by their limited knowledge to distinguish boundaries between public and private. Mediation programs were exposing too many privacy to public. Overabundance of media resources were putting in the private sector rather than public sphere. This article will discuss about the phenomenon of TV mediation brings over range of privacy to the public. Also,the article will offer suggestions from three perspectives which are setting up social psychological consultation mechanism, social responsibility of media and improving media literacy education for audiences.
