With the integration of the Internet into our lives,the ever-evolving youth subcultures and network media are closely linked together,becoming a cultural phenomenon that is gradually being accepted in the new media era.The network homemade reality show is an important platform for young people to express themselves and pursue individuality,which fully reflects the subculture characteristics of youth.From the perspective of youth subculture,this article makes a detailed and in-depth exposition and analysis of the characteristics of youth subcultures in content production,communication channels,and audience recognition.Based on the perspective of youth subculture,this article discusses the network homemade reality show.It's divided into five chapters: The first chapter is introduction,describes the background and significance of the research,clarifies the research scope and method of the research object,and introduces the innovations and difficulties of the research,combs the research process of the subculture theory of Chinese and western youth,and discusses different schools.And research on youth subcultures in different periods,and elaborated the research status of network homemade reality show.The second chapter introduces the concept and development history of the network homemade reality show.In-depth discussion of how youth subcultures in the context of a consumer society characterize obvious consumerism,fluid fashion,and vague resistance in network homemade reality shows,and how their styles are expressed through collages,isomorphism,and symbols methods are constructed,and detailed examples of these methods are given.The third chapter analyzes the content of the network homemade reality show from the two dimensions of star-oriented production-oriented production and the platform of constructing a personality display with entertainment expressions,enriching the production of the program from the topic of innovation-led topics,derivative versions online production,and cross-border hosting,distinctive programming language and personalized image established by characters five aspects for analysis.The fourth chapter discusses the manifestation of the youth subculture characteristics of network homemade reality show from the perspective ofaudience and communication channels.The audience constructs identity recognition through network homemade reality show,from hobby-based self-identification and group identification based on dividing internal and external differences.Among them,the network homemade reality show has achieved a good communication effect by satisfying the emotional needs of the audience.The network homemade reality show also makes full use of the video website itself,the barrage,Weibo,WeChat,and the Tik Tok short video platform to promote and disseminate.Among them,the connotation and characteristics of youth subcultures have also been fully developed and spread with network homemade reality shows.The fifth chapter considers youth subcultures and network homemade reality shows.Commercial collection and resistance in the context of a consumer society are the current status of youth subcultures.Under this influence,network homemade reality shows face serious dilemmas in the emphasis on commercial interests,lack of connotation and focus on a single youth group audience,leading to the narrowing of the audience.Through analysis,it is found that the network homemade reality show in the new media era contains significant youth subculture characteristics and conveys the unique voice of the youth group.In the context of a consumer society,youth subcultures are also actively moving towards mainstream culture.The inclusiveness of mainstream culture has also given the space for the diversified development of youth subcultures,which has continued to optimize network homemade reality shows.
