CT tube is the X-ray source in Computed Tomography equipment.The degree of vacuum in the tube directly affects the tube's performance and service life,while exhausting the tube is an important step to improve the degree of vacuum in the tube.At present,the exhaust equipment used by most domestic CT tube manufacturers is relatively backward.Many key processes need to be completed manually by workers,so quality of products is greatly affected by human factors and it is difficult to guarantee the consistency and stability of products' performance.Starting from the actual exhaust processing conditions of CT tube and based on the research results of electric vacuum tube's exhaust control system,this article adopted the control scheme of industrial personal computer and PLC combination,then built an electric control cabinet and designed the control system for CT tube exhaust table.The system uses PLC to implement control of the underlying device,and the host computer provides a friendly operation interface to realize the control of the exhaust process and the setting and adjustment of exhaust parameters.Also,the host computer records the state parameters during the exhaust process.The operation results show that the user can control the exhaust process,monitor the state parameters such as degree of vacuum and working status of main device and understand the progress of the exhaust process through the host computer interface.In addition,the user can also easily modify the exhaust steps and process parameters,then apply the system to exhaust different CT tubes,which realizes the full automation of exhaust process and improves the versatility and flexibility of the system.
