Castings produced by Die-Casting are widely used in such fields as cars, aerospace and computer. With the economic development, people have set higher and higher standards for the quality of castings. The open-loop system controlled by PLC was not only weak in data analysis and storage, but also unsatisfactory in control effect.This thesis takes the 2,000 tons die-casting machine IPC system as its background. Based on scene research and the consult of relevant information, this thesis summarizes the development of casting machine home and abroad, introduces the technological process of casting, proposes the overall programs of the control system and illustrates the selection of system hardware. It also gives a relatively detailed description of the functions of all parts of system software, accomplishes some friendly software interface effect by making use of the GDI+technology and realizes various data communication between IPC and PLC. In order to increase the quality of the castings, a fuzzy-PID algorithm control is introduced into the system. The simulation results of this method show that the pre-set standard is reached.
