The space traveling wave tube is a microwave vacuum electronic device that can amplify the signal,because of its special working environment and the long continuous working time,the performance parameters of the space traveling wave tube are required extremely high,various technical characteristics must be measured many times to accurately evaluate the characteristics of the whole tube before being put into use.The whole process is very long and complicated to operate.It requires high knowledge structure and experimental level of the tester.In order to improve the measurement efficiency of the all electrical parameters of the space traveling wave tube and reduce the related technical requirements,it is very meaningful to set up an integrated automatic test platform that can realize automatic testing of all electrical parameters.In addition,according to the increasingly high precision test requirements of the all-electric parameters of the space traveling wave tube,calibration is the most useful tool for improving the accuracy of automatic measurement,making it important to establish a highly automated and reliable special automatic calibration system.This subject focuses on the research of some technologies applied in the automatic testing of all electrical parameters of space traveling wave tubes.Firstly,it focuses on the domestic and foreign research and engineering application examples of automatic test system and calibration technology.Secondly,it studies the principle of virtual instrument system formation applied in the automatic test technology of space traveling wave tube all-electric parameters and the programming control method to realize automatic test;on the basis of the above theory,combining with the test methods and principles of various electrical parameters of the space traveling wave tube,an all-electric parameter integrated automatic test platform for the space traveling wave tube was developed,then it introduces the standard automatic testing method of two representative parameters based on the platform.Furthermore,the design idea of the all-electric parameter automatic calibration system of space traveling wave tube based on integrated platform,as well as the system construction and automatic calibration method of each calibration type,the calibration results under this system verify the automatic calibration system eliminates most of the errors in the measurement and realizes a more accurate online calibration of the whole system.Finally,based on the evaluation method of uncertainty,the precision analysis process and results of the space traveling wave tube all-electric parameter automatic test system are given.The results verified the accuracy and reliability of the electrical parameter test results of the entire system.For the design of the most critical host computer software in the system,LabWindows/CVI is mainly used as the software environment,using VISA software architecture,SCPI commands and instrument communication protocol development,the integrated,One-touch,fully automatic,high-precision calibration and measurement of all electrical parameters of space traveling wave tube are finally achieved.
