Research On China-related Reports In The Washington Post In 2016

Over the past four decades,China has carried out the largest modernization and industrialization process in human history at an unprecedented rate.Under the new normal,the lack of international discourse right does not match the international status and international influence in China's rapid improvement.Therefore,China urgently needs to develop effective ways and means of transmitting external communication that can reflect the new era of the China,tell the new story of China,and spread the voice of China.In this context,the author selected The Washington Post,which has a long history and great international influence in the United States,and chose 2016 as a time slice into the year of The Washington Post to China.In the report,he tried to explore the ways and characteristics of his report on China,and put forward practical countermeasures against its methods and characteristics,in order to provide some insignificant suggestions for China's external communication.This article is divided into eight chapters,three parts.The first part contains the contents of two chapters.In the introduction chapter,the author expounds the research background,introduces the purpose and significance of the research,explains the research methods,and finally introduces the research status in this field.The next chapter gives an overview of The Washington post and introduces the distribution of the report on China in 2016.The second part begins to conduct a specific research and analysis on the 16-year report of China Post,and analyzes the characteristics of the issues,reporting methods,trends,etc.of the China-related reports from the four aspects of politics,economy,society and science and technology.The last part summarizes the research conclusions of the "The Washington Post" report on China in 2016,points out the shortcomings of my research,and provide some targeted improvements and strategies from the research conclusions of this paper and my own research experience for China's external communication.
