Research On The Content And Value Of Mao Kun's Library And Bibliography Thought

Mao Kun was a famous librarian and bibliographer,one of the founders of Modern library science in China.The study of his academic achievements in library and bibliography not only reveal the value of his academic thoughts to modern library science,but also enrich the research content of library science history in China.This article chooses Mao Kun,an outstanding figure in Modern library science,as the research object.This paper is divided into three parts,the first part is an introduction,which introduces the research background and current research status of this topic,then briefly describes the research methods adopted in this topic and the research significance of this topic;the second part is the main part of the research content of this topic;the third part is the conclusion,which is the summary of the research results of this topic.Among the body part,which is divided into four chapters to write:The first chapter is "Introduction to Mao Kun's Life and Works".The author gives a brief introduction to Mao Kun's educational history and work experience,and his works on Library and bibliography,which are divided into two sections.The second chapter is "Mao Kun's library science thought content".It analyses Mao Kun's thought content in library science.They are: Mao Kun's new development in Library theory,Mao Kun's method of combining Chinese and Western learning,Mao Kun's new views on Library management,Mao Kun's conception of new library construction.The third chapter is "the content of Mao Kun's bibliographic thoughts".It analyses Mao Kun's thoughts on bibliographic theories.They are Mao Kun's understanding of the basic theory of bibliography,Mao Kun's research experience in ancient book cataloguing and Mao Kun's joint bibliographic thoughts.The fourth chapter is "A Survey of the Value of Mao Kun's Library and bibliography Thought".In this chapter,the author analyzed the value of Mao Kun's library science and bibliography Thought respectively.The fifth chapter is "conclusion".In this chapter,the author summarizes Mao Kun's academic thought's theoretical contribution to modern library science and its referencevalue to the current library cause,and briefly describes the relationship between his library science thought and bibliography thought.To sum up,this paper adopts the method of literature investigation and comprehensive induction to analyze Mao Kun's personal background,interpret Mao Kun's works on Library Science and bibliography,analyze Mao Kun's concrete manifestation of his thoughts in Library Science and bibliography,and then discuss the value embodiment of Mao Kun's thoughts on Library Science and bibliography,thus summarize his academic thoughts.The theoretical contribution to modern library science and its reference value to the current library cause.
