Study On The Problems And Countermeasures About Recruitment Of Subject Librarians In The Library Of National University Of Defense And Technology

Disciplinary service is the future direction of library service,and the key to the development of disciplinary services is to set up a high level of academic librarian team.The recruitment of subject librarians,as the first part of the construction of subject librarians,is of great significance to the development of subject librarians and the development of disciplinary services.In order to provide theoretical basis for scientific and reasonable subject librarian recruitment.The paper first introduces the basic theory of subject librarian and recruiting,and introduces the theory of human resources such as competency and professional matching.Secondly,with introducing the basic situation of the recruitment of the subject librarians of the National University of Defense and Technology library,the questionnaire survey is made by the various aspects of recruitment and the results of the questionnaire were carried out to provide the basis for the discovery of the recruitment problem.Then,from the management mechanism,recruitment information and personnel sources,librarians access assessment and growth environment,the author tries to find the library librarian recruitment problems and reasons from the leadership attention,management concepts and system analysis.In order to solve this problems,the author studies the recruitment of subject librarians at home and abroad and seeks for valuable experience.Finally,in view of the problems identified,the paper gives improving advices from strengthening scientific management,the establishment of post system,increasing the information dissemination,broadening the source of personnel channels,stricting access and assessment system,improving the performance appraisal,salary incentive mechanism,Strengthening librarians training.
