With the transition of social situation,the role of college graduates has changed from students to professionals.At the same time,the socialization process of graduates faces the overlapping of personal life and work.And We Chat has gradually expanded from the circle of friends with strong ties to the pan-work circle with weak ties.It has become an important turning point about the change of self-presentation in We Chat Moments.The network of discipline power on the social environment restricts the self-presentation of college graduates,which is worthy of study.In this paper,We Chat Moments' users who have experienced the role transition from college students to professionals are selected as research objects.30 college graduates who meet the research conditions are sampled.The research materials are mainly obtained in two ways.On the one hand,we have in-depth interviews with these college graduates to understand the pressures encountered by their role transition,and how to adapt to the social environment with We Chat Moments.On the other hand,the virtual ethnographic method was used to observe the form and characteristics of their self-presentation on their We Chat Moments.In general,the study found that college graduates passively accept others' discipline in early stage of professional socialization.With the further professional socialization,they behave themselves in an active or passive way of self-discipline.Thus,college graduates have experienced the development process from others' discipline to differentiated self-discipline.When the college graduates enter into the new social environment,the discipline penetrates into the situation of We Chat Moments,which puts forward higher requirements for self-presentation.The others' discipline in We Chat Moments is embodied in the penetration of the norms of social environments in the visible scene.As well as the expansion of the scope of interpersonal communication,which brings the discipline from the audience.College graduates need to adjust their roles and behaviors under the influence of others' discipline when performing,and gradually internalize to form self-discipline.The self-discipline in theWe Chat Moments mainly includes the management of the audience group,the targeted publishing of content to limit the visibility of space-time dimension,and the interpersonal interaction that produces a general discipline for the group.The others' discipline and self-discipline affect thee behavior and ways of graduates' self-presentation in We Chat Moments,while the discipline in We Chat Moments can in turn differentiate their adaptation and integration into the professional environment.First of all,college graduates' subjectivity has been significantly improved by switching their roles between performers and audience,which means that they are able to participate in the mechanism of We Chat Moments' discipline.Secondly,it promotes college graduates' understanding of social relationship circle with the discipline of self-presentation.They can draw on the experience of shaping social professional role,thereby shortening the career adaptation period of role transition.At the same time,it also exposed the role contradiction of college graduates in the process of discipline,which affected the stability of the role transition.Therefore,we need to give full play to the advantages of discipline of self-presentation in We Chat Moments,in order to promote socialization in depth.In this way,the active role management and social interaction function of the self-presentation in We Chat Moments can become more prominent.
