In the context of the development of the sports industry,local sports events have also made great progress.With the deepening of mobile networking,some regional local sports new media have become the first choice for many sports users to understand local events due to their high user stickiness,strong interaction,and various marketing options.The continuous deepening of national fitness and the frequent development of community-based and regional sports activities have brought more development space for local sports new media.Since 2011,a group of scholars have begun to cut in from the perspective of urban communication,pay attention to the development of new media and interaction with cities,and have produced a number of outstanding results.This article is an active exploration based on the above background.This article focuses on the content and operation methods of Wuhan “Wuhan power”and Guangzhou “Sports”,two local sports new media.The content of these two local sports new media is mainly based on large-scale sports events held in Wuhan and Guangzhou.It is mainly based on regional and local events,integrates the characteristics of localization,and uses WeChat public platform as the main communication channel,and joins multiple communication channels to jointly create local sports content.This article introduces Professor Shao Peiren's research framework on media geography,and attempts to study the development of local sports new media from a new perspective.In the book "Media Geography",Professor Shao Peiren pointed out that the main influencing factors of media geography are "media place","media time","media landscape",and "media scale".This paper analyzes two aspects through the study of these four dimensions.The advantages of the development of local sports new media,explore the content creation of local sports new media in the media time,place,landscape,and scale in the new media environment,thereby forming a certain influence in the local area.Based on the author 's work experience in Wuhan “Wuhan power ” and field survey of“match points” in Guangzhou,this article combines the research methods of “expert interviews”,“case analysis” and “documentary materials” to analyze the media of local sports new media.Geographical characteristics.Focused on the characteristics of local sports newmedia in four dimensions: one is to interpret the local characteristics of sports new media from a local perspective;the other is the time dimension to explain the time development of sports new media;the third is the media scale to grasp the sustainable development of local sports new media;The fourth is the performance of the city's diverse landscape of new sports media.The innovation of this article is to introduce the perspective of the analysis of media geography,carry out in-depth theoretical analysis and practical exploration of the development of local sports new media,with a view to providing more scientific and systematic suggestions for the development of local sports new media.The article points out: For the regional development of local sports new media,it is necessary to make good use of local audiences to create in-depth content,let local sports stars tell local stories,and actively integrate a variety of local sports symbols to create content;in the operation process,event marketing and emotion Marketing methods,creating an interactive and highly dependent communication platform,and establishing a media community to allow the audience to find a sense of local belonging;and deepen the potential of local sports,pay attention to media standards and cultural identity,with a view to other local sports New media provides a model that can be used for reference,which can prosper the development of new sports media and provide more ways for audiences to obtain diversified sports resources.
