Research On The Practice Of "Double First-Class" Human Library Activities In Universities

In order to realize national reading and improve reading quality,university libraries have launched human library activities one after another.Human library activity is a new type of reading activity,which can improve the scientific research level of colleges and universities,increase the storage of readers' knowledge,enrich library collection resources,realize the dissemination of tacit knowledge,etc.,and is conducive to promoting the sustainable construction and development of university libraries.At present,some university libraries in China have continuously carried out human library activities,but there are still many university libraries that do not attach much importance to human library activities and have many problems.In this paper,42 "Double First-Class" university libraries are taken as the survey objects,and the current situation of 42 "Double First-Class" university human libraries is investigated by means of literature research,network investigation,telephone interview and other methods.The survey contents include the opening situation of "Double First-Class" university human libraries,the publicity of activities,the main body of activities,the venue of activities,the management mode of living books borrowing,the feedback channels of activities evaluation and other contents.From this,we select the human libraries of Shanghai Jiao Tong University,Wuhan University and Harbin Institute of Technology,which carry out better activities,as typical cases for in-depth analysis.Through investigation,we find the existing problems in the human libraries of domestic universities and colleges,and propose targeted solutions.This article is mainly divided into seven chapters:The first chapter is the introduction,which gives a detailed introduction to the research background and significance of human library.At the same time,it also summarizes the research status of human library at home and abroad.Secondly,it elaborates the research methods,overall research ideas and main research contents adopted in this paper,and briefly introduces the innovation points of this paper.The second chapter is about the concept and characteristics of the real person library,including two aspects: one is the connotation of the concept of the real person library,which defines the concept of the real person library;the other is to summarize three characteristics of the real person library through the activity process,activity form and activity concept of the real person library.The third chapter is the investigation of the current situation of the "Double First-Class" university human library activities,including the opening of the "Double First-Class" university human library,the publicity of the activities,the main body of the activities,the venues of the activities,the management mode of human book borrowing and the feedback channels of the activities evaluation,etc.The fourth chapter is a case study of "Double First-Class" university human libraries.Starting from the continuity and richness of human library activities,the author selects Shanghai Jiao Tong University human library,Wuhan University human library and Harbin Institute of Technology human library as typical cases,and makes an in-depth analysis of the current situation of their human library activities from the overall situation,operation mode and results of the activities.The fifth chapter puts forward the problems that still exist at present according to the current situation of the development of university human libraries,such as limited themes of activities,lack of standardized management of living books,imperfect borrowing mode,lack of evaluation and feedback mechanism,insufficient sharing and construction of living books resources,insufficient publicity in university human libraries,etc.The sixth chapter puts forward some countermeasures according to the existing problems in the university human library,mainly including opening up the theme of activities,standardizing the management of living books in university human library,perfecting the borrowing mode of human library,perfecting the feedback channel of evaluation,constructing the sharing platform of living books,and strengthening the propaganda of university library.The last part is the conclusion of this article.
