In recent years, the proportion of the elderly population in China increased year by year. With the occurrence of the children working in different places, Empty nest phenomenon of the elderly will be more and more common. In the future society, affected by the fierce competition of jobs in a market economy, people’s work burden getting heavier and heavier, and it’s very difficult for them to have more energy in his spare time devoted to caring for the elderly, which leads to more and more elderly people living alone have their own cuisine daily life. Event of an accident cannot be often found and rescue in time, often resulting in regrettable and irreparable consequences. The problem of the elderly living alone has become an urgent social issue.This paper presents a detected method of indoor condition monitoring for elderly people living alone and discusses the software and hardware design, to achieve the all-time monitoring of physiological parameters of elderly people living alone. The system uses wireless sensor nodes to collect the relevant parameters of the elderly and send them to the monitoring center. And then the monitoring center would analysis these data and make feedback. The system can full-track the elderly people by a combination analysis of four indications, indoor positioning information, sports information, temperature and time information, as long as health problems occurred, the elderly in the system can be timely detected and treated. This is of great significance for the elderly human life and health security.This article focuses on the following aspects of the study:(1) Construct a wireless network in room base on CC1110, and its sub-network layer follows the low-speed wireless communications protocol standard IEEE802.15.4, the network layer is mainly based on SimpliciTI protocol stack. The mobile node of the network is responsible for collecting the parameter information of each sensor, and the AP node which arranged in the center of indoor is responsible for the tracking of mobile nodes.(2) Make portable mobile nodes which contain acceleration sensor and the non-contact temperature sensor, they are function is to obtain the motion information of the elderly as well as tracking body temperature for them and room temperature respectively. Moreover, these nodes can access to the network to complete the positioning, and are able to display corresponding information on the node LCD.(3) Compile the underlying drivers and upper-layer software. The underlying drivers are to complete the data acquisition of each sensor module controlled by CC1110; the upper-layer software achieves assessment of the living conditions of the elderly. The basic health condition of the elderly, motions and routine time are reflected by body temperature, time and acceleration as well as time, location and acceleration respectively. The room temperature plays an assistant role in analyzing the living conditions for the elderly.Through the System testing, the design of living condition monitoring system for elderly people living alone this paper has high reliability on the analysis of the daily life for the elderly. The system can create a safe living environment for the elderly.
