Research On The Report Strategy Of National Science Conference Of People's Daily

The National Science Conference in 1978 is a significant event in the history of science and technology in China.It liberated the public mind,promoted the new trend of science and technology,and laid an important foundation for the establishment of scientific and technological work policy and the rapid development of science and technology after the reform and opening up.It is called "the spring of science".During the National Science Conference,People's Daily made a comprehensive and in-depth report on it,which left a strong mark in the history of China's science and technology news communication.It has a very important epoch-making significance and opened a new era of China's science and technology news report.This paper takes the report of the National Science Conference of People's Daily as the research object,combining quantitative research with qualitative research.Firstly,the content analysis method is used to make quantitative analysis on the report of the National Science Conference,and six categories of report quantity,report layout,report length,report theme,news genre and news source are constructed.From the category analysis,the national science of People's Daily is obtained The overall presentation of the conference report.Secondly,it further analyzes the text of the report of the National Science Conference,and grasps the characteristics of the report text construction from the news title,news picture,character description,reporting perspective and rhetoric expression.Through the research,we find that People's Daily reports the national science conference through the following reporting strategies: large-scale,multiple page centralized reports;multiple genre,multiple topic series reports;authoritative reports with strong political color;special columns of scientific and technological issues;focusing on scientific and technological figures from an omniscient perspective;mobilizing public opinion based on positive reports.The People's Daily has achieved strong social mobilizationthrough reporting on the National Science Conference.At the same time,due to historical limitations,there are few reports from the public perspective and lack of easy to understand interpretation of scientific and technological terms.The report of the national science conference also has important practical enlightenment to the news report of the present science and Technology Conference: we should do a good job in the early planning of the report of the major science and technology conference,realize matrix report through all media channels,innovate the form of report,make the hard science and technology news soft landing,improve the closeness between the science and technology news and the public life,strengthen the vivid shaping of the advanced science and Technology typical,and strive to cultivate Journalists' scientific literacy.In today's communication environment,the above methods can be used to improve the communication effect of science and technology conference news.
