| As a capital of cultural exchange in Silk Road choke point, Dunhuang shouldered the great historical mission since the Han dynasty. Since 7th century, after experiencing the jurisdiction of the three periods of the Tang dynasty, Tubo (吐蕃)rule and Guiyijun (归义军)Management Period, the Dunhuang enlighten education during more than 400 years occupies very important position in the history of China’s education. But official history detailed central schools, however,slightly recorded the local schools; even private writings for local education development are vague. The teaching materials for the Dunhuang enlighten education rarely handed down except The Ji jiu Pian(急就篇)and Qian zi wen (千字文).Fortunately, Dunhuang left a large number of documents, especially Dunhuang comp Mongolia books provide first-hand historical materials of the education development of Dunhuang.According to Dunhuang comp Mongolia books and combined with some local Chronicles,we can draw the outline of the trajectory of Dunhuang enlighten education, detailed view of the system and scale of it, understanding the ideology and value orientation of it. Therefore, on the basis of sorting and collating Dunhuang comp Mongolia books (敦煌蒙书),this paper classifies them scientifically in accordance with the nature and function of them, dividing them into four categories such as literacy, knowledge accomplishment, family precepts and application, and then defines the two concepts of "Dunhuang comp Mongolia books" and "Dunhuang enlighten education". The paper also discusses the literacy class of "Dunhuang comp Mongolia book",Dunhuang literacy and calligraphy education, family precepts class and family precepts of books and Dunhuang traditional culture and Confucianism. Further more, the paper summarizes the development history and characteristics of Dunhuang enlighten education.Through the studies of "Dunhuang comp Mongolia books" and Dunhuang enlighten education, we can conclude that Dunhuang enlighten education has important status and significance in the history of education in the Tang Dynasty, Five Dynasties and the Song Dynasty. |
