Research On Factors Affecting R&d Performance Of N Company's Project

In recent years,research and development(R&D)as an important topic has attracted many key investment and attention of high-tech companies.Opportunities comes with risks.The rise of 5G technology has spawned many new industries and demanding challenges at the same time.In the past few years,the semiconductor industry has made rapid progress as the core of modern technology,and their products are widely used in consumer electronics,communication equipments,artificial intelligence and virtual reality.The integrated circuit(IC)industry,which accounts for more than 80% of the semiconductor industry,has achieved leapfrog development in performance,integration,and speed by researching and developing new process,designing and producting logic chips,memory chips,and analog chips.According to statistical data,the total number of IC design companies in 2018 has exceeded 1,600.IC design houses must stay strong to gain a place in the fierce market competition and establish their own brand successfully.As the diversified and open business forms today,the frequency of product iteration has greatly increased.It depends on their own R&D performance whether to stand out from many competitors.This paper reviews the relevant literature and research results at home and abroad,then find the definition of R&D and R&D performance,and combs the past research on R&D performance.It is concluded that we can measure the R&D performance by quantitative or qualitative methods.In this paper,I'll choose the qualitative indicators to measure R&D performance.Combined with the existing theoretical models,there are 14 factors mainly affecting the R&D performance are summarized.Based on the current status of N company's development,14 experts were assigned to score these 14 factors,and the top four factors are the project goals,project strategy,project resources,and executive support.A hypothetical model was proposed depending on the scoring results,and a questionnaire was designed to validate this model.The survey respondents are employees of N Company's R&D project team.The validity of the questionnaire was confirmed by the reliability and validity analysis of the results.And it was obtained that the project goals and project resources had a significant effect on the R&D performance of N company's project by regression analysis of the questionnaire.The project strategy and executive support did not show significant impact on the R&D perfoemance.Finally,it gives some suggestions on project goals and project resources to improve the R&D performance of N company's project.Meanwhile,it also gives some suggestions on project strategy and executive support.The countermeasures and suggestions provided a certain theoretical reference and practical reference for the improvement of R&D performance of N company's project.
