With the deepening of ocean exploration and development,underwater robots have been widely used as an essential means to understand and develop the ocean.According to relevant data,the failure of the motor under water operation is largely related to the sealing of the motor.Therefore,for robots working in the deep sea,the sealing of motor equipment is the most critical technology of the robot,and its performance is directly related to the performance of the equipment.In underwater operations,the pressure resistance of the submersible motor,the tightness of the joint and the degree of insulation largely determine the depth of the underwater operation of the equipment.This topic is intended to analyze the impact of the underwater operating environment on the motor sealing performance,analyze the pressure of the motor sealing ring,and use ANSYS to model the seals to analyze the stress distribution,deformation and shear stress of the sealing by simulating different water pressures,different speeds and different thermal stresses.Firstly,this paper introduces the research background,significance and main contents of the subject,and expounds the current situation of the rotatory shaft seal of the underwater motor.This paper introduces the knowledge about the rotary shaft seal of underwater robot motor and the finite element theory of rubber seal.Secondly,the fault situation of the underwater robot motor in actual use is analyzed,and the main factors causing the fault of the robot motor are found as the quality control point to be controlled.Then according to the operation characteristics of the motor of the underwater robot motor,the material and structure of the motor are selected,and the structure of the motor suitable for underwater operation is selected.Then,the finite element analysis software ANSYS is used to establish the model,and the dynamic seal of the rotatory shaft part of the selected motor seal structure is analyzed by finite element method.According to the actual working conditions,the effects of different water pressure,rotating speed and thermal stress on the rotating seals of motors were simulated respectively.The stress distribution,deformation and shear stress of O-ring,seal sleeve and groove in rotary seal system are analyzed by using large-scale finite element analysis software ANSYS.Finally,the sealing of the motor is tested and studied to demonstrate the sealing of the submersible motor and draw a conclusion,based on which the quality control of the sealing of the motor of the underwater robot is carried out.In this paper,the finite element analysis of the rotary shaft seal system of underwater motor provides theoretical support for the design,optimization and reliability of underwater motor.It provides important reference value for the product research of underwater motor sealing materials and the quality control of underwater motor rotary shaft seal system.
