ANSYS software as its representative, Finite Element Method is one of the most important method in the CAE(Computer Aided Engineering)simulation analysis stage of electronic equipment structural design ,so in this thesis the Finite Element Analysis program ANSYS Workbench was used to study the Modal Analysis and the Harmonic response Analysis for the carriage part which is one important component of the Medical Film Scanner , it is provides a scientific and theoretical basis to improve the performance evaluation and design for the scanner. The author of this article use of CAD software ANSYS Workbench built the 3-D finite element model for the carriage part of the scanner , and we import the finite element in ANSYS Workbench using the data exchange functionality between SolidWorks and ANSYS Workbench ,then the modal analysis and harmonic response analysis were carried to the model. Through the modal analysis, the natural frequency and modal shape of the carriage part was obtained . From the modal analysis we got the situations of stiffness strength and elasticity deformation about each part of the carriage part , and carried out many times tests to improve the transmission light shell enhance its stability which is the most seriously deformation and has direct impact to the quality of the scan . Through the harmonic response analysis , come to the more sensitive frequency range for the light , provides the basis for improving the design and the performance of the scanner.
